Jini Dasgupta - two grade 9s, four grade 8s, two grade 7s and a Distinction* in Health and Social care.

Xavier Adamczak - four grade 9s, a grade 8, three grade 7s, a grade 6 and a Distinction* in Sport.

Parsa Eghbal - three grade 9s, a grade 8, two grade 7s, a grade 6, a grade 5 and a Merit in Engineering.

Aisosa Greatness Henry-Odiase - a grade 9, a grade 8, two grade 7s, a grade 6, a grade 5, a Merit in Enterprise and a Distinction in Sport.

Paris Wild - grade 9s, a grade 8, a grade 7, three grade 5s, a Merit in Hospitality and a Merit in Health and Social Care

Students and staff at Lift Unity City, part of Lift Schools, are celebrating this week after students achieved the best results in the school’s history. This year’s GCSE and BTEC results represent a landmark achievement, with students securing more grade 9s than ever before, alongside a significant improvement in results across a range of subjects.

After years of hard work, students are now seeing the rewards of their efforts and making plans for the next stage of their education. Whether progressing to A levels, vocational or technical education, students can look forward to exciting new opportunities as they take their next steps towards their future careers.

The results reflect the resilience, determination and commitment students demonstrated throughout their studies and during their exams in May and June. The school went above and beyond to ensure students had access to the support and resources they needed to feel as prepared as possible for these important examinations.

Lift Unity City provided a wide range of additional support, including group and one-to-one intervention sessions before school, during the school day, after school and at weekends. Students and parents also benefited from ‘fish and tips’ revision sessions, free revision resources, motivational speakers and reward incentives designed to encourage and recognise students’ efforts. Further support was provided through Booster Club, Sprint Weeks and online tutoring, giving students additional opportunities to consolidate their learning, build confidence and prepare for their exams.

This comprehensive programme of support has paid off, with many students achieving the grades required to progress to sixth form and continue their education through A levels, BTECs and further vocational study.

It is a proud moment for the whole Lift Unity City community as everyone comes together to celebrate students’ achievements and look ahead to the exciting opportunities that await them.

Jini Dasgupta achieved, grade 9 in English Literature, grade 9 in Chemistry, grade 8 in Maths, grade 8 in Biology, grade 8 in Physics, grade 8 in History, grade 7 in English Language and grade 7 in French. Jini also achieved a Distinction* in Health and Social Care. Jini is studying A-levels at Djongali Sixth form.

Xavier Adamczak achieved grade 9 in Maths, grade 9 in Biology, grade 9 in Physics, grade 9 in Polish, grade 8 in Art, grade 7 in Chemistry, grade 7 in Geography, grade 7 in English Language and a grade 6 in English Literature. Xavier also achieved a Distinction* in Sport. Xavier is studying A-levels at Queen Elizabeth Sixth Form.

Parsa Eghbal achieved grade 9 in Maths, grade 9 in Biology, grade 9 in Chemistry, grade 8 in Physics, grade 7 in English Literature, grade 7 in Geography, grade 6 in English Language and a grade 5 in French. Parsa also achieved a Merit in Engineering. Parsa is going to Middlesbrough college to study A-levels in Biology, Chemistry and Further Maths.

Aisosa Greatness Henry-Odiase achieved grade 9 in English Literature, grade 8 in Maths, grade 7 in English Language, grade 7 in Combined Science, grade 6 in Geography and grade 5 in French. Aisosa also achieved a Merit in Enterprise and a Distinction in Sport. Aisosa is going to Middlesbrough College to study A-level Computer Science, Further Maths and Physics.

Paris Wild achieved grade 9 in English Literature, grade 8 in 3D Design, grade 7 in English Language, grade 5 in Maths, grade 5 in Combined Science and grade 5 in History. Paris also achieved Merits in both Hospitality and Health and Social Care. Paris is going to Redcar College to study BTECH.

“We are particularly proud of the breadth and strength of the results achieved, with students securing outstanding grades across a wide range of subjects, alongside strong achievements in vocational and technical qualifications. From exceptional results in the core subjects of English, Maths and Science to successes in subjects such as Art, History, Languages, Engineering, Sport, Hospitality, Health and Social Care and Enterprise, our students have demonstrated their talents in so many different areas.

“I would also like to thank our brilliant staff for the dedication, encouragement and support they have given our students. The additional revision sessions, intervention programmes, Booster Clubs, Sprint Weeks and online tutoring have all played an important part in helping students prepare for their exams and achieve their potential.

“Most importantly, it has been a joy to see our students celebrating alongside their families and teachers. We are excited to see the opportunities that lie ahead for them, whether they are progressing to sixth form, A levels, BTECs, vocational or technical education. We wish every one of our students the very best as they take their next steps, and we look forward to seeing all that they go on to achieve.”
